Brock International Inc.
5205 Leesburg Pike
Falls Church, Va.
Suite # 312
January 1986 - August 1986

While employed with Brock International (Allied Security bought Brock in 1986) was assigned as the Project Manager for the Gannett and USA Today, buildings located in Rosslyn, Va. Duties included the supervision and training for 35 security officers. This responsibility required the writing and implementing of security procedures and guidelines that had been nonexistent or not enforced by predecessors. The Security detachment for these facilities was in fact in such disarray as to be totally inoperable. Built a strong working relationship with the staff, and promoted command staff from within. Set my command staff up similarly to a small Police Dept. with a central records and filing system. Morale of staff improved to the point that was able to almost eliminate unauthorized overtime, absenteeism and tardiness were almost eliminated. Was proud of my staff and the type of job and service that they rendered.
