Mr. McDonald offers a unique package of expertise and education, combining strong academic and corporate experience with his extensive Special Operations and security career. Having over 16 years of military experience and 13 years of direct operational experience, 6 years of which entailed immersion in hostile foreign areas, Mr. McDonald offers strategic acumen and tactical domain expertise. Mr. McDonald's operational experience spans through intelligence gathering and research, contextual analysis and exploitation, procedural and strategy development, launch, management and oversight, to unwinding or transitional sustainability of both foreign and domestic security teams and military units. He has worked extensively with foreign heads of state, high profile dignitaries, military leaders, politicians and corporate executives. Mr. McDonald was also a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch in one of the world's most active and sophisticated markets, the Silicon Valley. He advised and counseled successful entrepreneurs and corporate executives, adding further to his inherent pattern recognition, business strategy, leadership, negotiation and problem solving skill set. Working in this capacity allowed Mr. McDonald to hone his ability to secure and develop quality relationships within the corporate world.

Three years of high-level government contract experience working on the two highest priority U.S. State Department programs in Iraq and Afghanistan. Sixteen months on the “Karzai Protection detail” in Afghanistan and 10 months at the Counter Terrorist Special Operations Facility in Baghdad, Iraq. Instrumental in developing the Afghan Presidential Protective Service as an Advisor. Experience includes Liaison work, Counter Narcotics, State Department High Threat and Dignitary Protection, CQB and, extensive Foreign Internal Defense. Worked jointly with DEA, DOD and the State Department as well as with various other special operations units. Able to plan, implement and refine complex operations.
