Security Consultant - Baghdad (Janusian
Security-Iraq) I am currently responsible for the
daily risk assessment and low profile protection of personnel
from a very well known communications company in Baghdad.
During my time with this company I have had occasion to complete
several residential security surveys, which resulted in additional
defences and checkpoints being erected around specific residential
locations. Additionally, I am responsible for the training,
safety and security of 11 locally employed security officers.
HUMINT Ops – SOCA - Afghanistan (ArmorGroup)
I was specifically recruited for this particular role, due
to my previous military role. I was responsible for the planning
and conduct of covert HUMINT operations for SOCA throughout
Kabul. I planned several routes throughout the city from scratch
and implemented procedures for their conduct. I prepared briefings
and orders packs, as well as personally briefing senior SOCA
staff on HUMINT operations in general.
Security Consultant for a Private Security Detail
– Ft Lauderdale, USA (Oceans 5) I was a member
of a 5-man Private Security Detail, providing daily low-profile
protection for two European clients, and their families, involved
in the petrochemical industry in the Ivory Coast. The level
of protection was 24hrs per day throughout Miami and Ft Lauderdale
in differing social settings and events. During this time
my duties included route recce, discreet personal protection,
walking drills, counter and anti-surveillance drills, Hotel
Security, embuss and debuss drills, SAP.
Close Protection Instructor (Task International)
I was part of a 2-man Training Team responsible for the daily
instruction of Close Protection techniques to the Royal St
Vincent & the Grenadines Police Force, in preparation
for the 2007 Cricket world cup. Subjects taught included threat
assessment, walking drills, discreet low-level procedures,
embussing & debussing drills, advanced driving, hostile
environment procedures including live firing, pistol techniques
and CQB drills.
Advanced Agent Handler – HUMINT Operations
(British Military Intelligence) – UK I spent
4 and a half years with Joint Support Group (JSG) in Northern
Ireland. My first 3 years were spent planning, co-ordinating
and conducting politically sensitive and physically hostile
covert counter terrorist operations in Northern Ireland. This
role was specifically in the running of Covert HUMINT Intelligence
Sources (CHIS) from within terrorist groupings. I produced
exhaustive written Intelligence reports, many of which were
personally read by the British Prime Minister. I regularly
liaised with other security agencies, both British and Foreign.
I was also responsible for my Detachments live firing, CQB
and situation awareness training. I also spent 6 months in
Kosovo where I ran several CHIS from terrorist and criminal
groups. I also ran successful HUMINT Operations in conjunction
with the SRR against Serbian War criminals. On my return to
Northern Ireland, I was placed in charge of the Cultivation
and Recruitment of potential CHIS. This involved the identification,
research, pattern of life study, surveillance and assessment
of all potential CHIS. This lengthy process would culminate
in a “scam” being put in place and a lengthy recruitment
operation would begin. I was awarded the Queens Commendation
for Valuable Service in the 2006 Queens Birthday Honours List
for my contribution to a 2-year long successful recruitment
operation. During this year I also briefed several government
ministers, including John Reid (Home Secretary) and Adam Ingram
(Armed Forces Minister), specifically on Cultivation and Recruitment
matters.
